So, you came to the place New Community Church meets and the doors are locked. The parking lot is empty. You look at your watch to make sure you’re on time. Where on earth is everybody? The simple answer is, we are at an away game. New Community Church is a people, it’s not a building. Like the Cincinnati Reds are not Great American Ball Park or the Bengals aren’t Paul Brown Stadium. As a church, we gather together almost every Sunday to be reminded of who God is and what he has done for us and ultimately embrace our new identity from him. But when there is a fifth Sunday in a month, we remind ourselves that the church was made to go. So that’s where we are; serving, worshipping, and living out our new identity in the communities in which we live. Hopefully next time, you will join us.
