A word from our Family Ministry Team Lead

I’m so glad that you’re checking out our church family! We’re committed to joining you in the discipleship journey of your student(s) as we all try to live out our identity as a family of servant missionaries. If you plan to join us on a Sunday morning, give me a heads up here and we can make a plan to meet at the connect table after one of the gatherings!

Tristan Ferry, Family Ministry Team Lead

We love loving our families and their middle and high school students.

We have assembled a team of committed disciplers who encourage our middle and high school students to grow up into Christ in every way and live out their faith in the everyday areas of life. We strive to live as a family of brothers and sisters who love God and one another well.

Our students attend the main Gathering (our Sunday morning worship) each week and come back later in the week (usually Sunday nights) for student-specific ministries. We currently have three “vehicles” or meeting rhythms set in place to foster life transformation and intimacy with Christ:

Content Nights (2x monthly): Content Nights are about gathering consistently with our community around God’s word. After a teaching, we’ll break into discussion groups to learn to apply these truths to our lives. For a sample of what one of these teachings looks like head over to this link!

Serve/Fun (1x monthly): Each month we choose half of our group to serve together and the other half to go and make memories together. We’ve done guys serve while girls have fun and vice versa, middle schoolers serve while high school have fun and vice versa. We alternate these couplings month to month.

Variable Events: The rest of the Sundays each month are occupied by various happenings. We may have a worship night, bonfire, night of ice cream, movie night, night of prayer, night of ice cream, bowling, hiking, tackle a thorny topic, night of ice cream, or whatever else seems right!

Below is the calendar of events for New Community Students (or NCS). We’re committed to keeping this as accurate as possible, so please reach out if something seems incorrect!
